On behalf of everyone here at Team Wayfield, we would like to welcome you to Wayfield Primary School. We are extremely proud to be the Co-Headteachers of a thriving Apple Distinguished school. As you walk down the corridors, you can almost hear the heartbeat of digital technology connecting the cogs of curious minds. Our children light up when they talk about their learning. It’s easy to underestimate how impressive many of their learning journeys have been during and post-covid.

 
Purposeful and strategic deployment of 1:1 iPads, throughout each key stage, has deepened the crucial partnership between parent and practitioner, raising student aspiration, promoting greater teacher autonomy and learner agency, widening accessibility to the curriculum and accelerating progress. Our Apple ecosystem underpins our digital learning strategy; driving authentic and meaningful connections across our school community, engaging lessons and impactful experiences for our children through creativity, exploration and discovery.
