Meet Mrs Leeson

Hi! I’m Mrs Leeson and I have the pleasure of teaching Team Thompson. I am newly qualified but have worked in  a range of different schools. I have taught and trained in year 2 and 3, but am excited to teach in reception. I love working in Primary Education because it is here that children make some very important decisions, such as what kind of friend they want to be and what kind of learner they want to be.  But what I love most about my job is seeing the children grow.
This year, we can expect lots of exciting work, celebrations and fun from Team Thompson. In Team Thompson we had discussions around our rights and responsibilities, Team Thompson have come up with a list of class rules they will follow to ensure everyone is being treated fairly. Respecting each other and showing kindness and manners are key values to our team. 
Teaching isn’t my only passion! I love spending time with my family as I have two children, and travelling around.
