Meet Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Kennedy

Hi! I’m Mrs Fletcher and I am thrilled to be your teacher. I’m looking forward to a year of learning, fun and adventures! I cannot wait to learn all about you.
This will be my 12th year of teaching 2 yr olds and I am so happy to be your teacher for 2022-2023. At Wayfield Primary School we are very lucky to have a 2 yr old nursery which allows our youngest learners the best start in their education. It is very important that children build positive relationships with the adults and their peers within nursery which helps them to settle in our beautiful natural environment which is carefully planned for to suit every individual needs. When the children have settled they will then be ready to explore the environment which is where their learning will begin ‘Learning Through Play’.
There is so much that I am looking forward to this year! Some of the topics we will be learning about are ‘Once Upon A Time’, ‘Fantastic Food’ and ‘Amazing Me’. We will have specials visitors come to visit us e.g. people who help us and also a special visit from some rodents and reptiles.
Although I have a passion to create exciting opportunities for the children in my care, in my spare time I also enjoy going for walks, reading books and eating plenty of Sushi.
